PERU BOLSTERS INTERNATIONAL SPACE COLLABORATION WITH KEY U.S. PARTNERS DURING RS23

Lima, Peru — OPERATION HARPY SUR, a space exercise nested under Exercise RESOLUTE SENTINEL 2023, has opened a new chapter in international space collaboration at the Centro Nacional de Operaciones de Imágenes Satelitales, or CNOIS, in southern Peru. The space exercise aims to bolster the region's emerging space programs.

JCO hosts Qatari Delegation

A coalition space team of U. S. Space Force Guardians, Colombian Air Force Guardianes, and Ecuadorian Air Force members deploy an Olympus Bolt intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensor at a forward operating location in Rionegro, Colombia, after a rapid relocation from its previous deployment in Cali, Colombia. The deployment was part of Operation Thundergun Express, a 21-day space deployment exercise nested under Resolute Sentinel 23. Schriever SFB celebrates 25 years

PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — Schriever Space Force Base held a ceremony June 21, 2023, to celebrate both the 40th anniversary of the groundbreaking for Falcon Air Force Station and the 25th anniversary of the renaming of the installation to Schriever Air Force Base, which in 2021 was renamed to Schriever Space Force Base.

Colorado Springs to host DEL 15, two Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Squadrons

ARLINGTON, Va. (AFNS) — The U.S. Space Force’s Space Delta 15, activated in March 2023, is expected to be permanently based at Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado, along with the new 75th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Squadron. Additionally, the service expects the 74th ISR Squadron, activated in November 2022, to be based at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.
