By Maj Erin Leon

Maj. Gen. Dennis O. Bythewood, U.S. Space Forces-Space Deputy Commander, stands with representatives from the Aerospace Corporation, Northrup Gruman, Boeing, and Lockheed Martin, outside of the S4S headquarters at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., June 24, 2024. Bythewood and leaders from Space Operations Command (SpOC) S3/5 met with this group to establish further partnership with industry and to identify opportunities for integrating them into space operations planning.

“We need dynamic solutions to combat the threats we face in space,” said Bythewood. “Through these kinds of conversations with industry, we can discuss how their rapidly developed solutions could be integrated into our operations to make the Space Force more resilient.”   (U.S. Space Force photo by Maj.
