U.S. Space Forces - Space and Space Delta 5 leadership participated in Space Launch Delta 30's 'State of Vandenberg' event March 14, 2025, at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Schiess, S4S commander and Combined Joint Force Space Component Commander, and U.S. Space Force Col. Justin Sorice, DEL 5 commander and Combined Space Operations Center director, both delivered speeches to the Santa Maria Valley and Lompoc Valley Chambers of Commerce in order to keep community members informed on the base's mission and key updates that could have a regional influence.
