VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. –
Members from U.S. Space Forces-Space staff and subordinate centers met May 13-17, 2024, at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif. for a Mid-Planning Conference for the command's first-ever internal exercise known as ZEALOUS KEPLER '24. Participants discussed exercise objectives and tasks that will be incorporated to determine the success of the exercise.
"This is a huge milestone for S4S," said U.S. Army Lt. Col. Michael Krayer, ZEALOUS KEPLER exercise lead. "Our MPC team is creating the groundwork for how the command will work with USSPACECOM and other Combatant Commands, in this case INDO-PACOM, to task centers and combat units assigned to S4S in order to deliver combat relevant space effects to the joint warfighter."
ZK24 is scheduled to take place later this summer, and will test S4S and its ability to meet war-time requirements.
