SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. –
Missile Defense Agency and Missile Defense Integration and Operations Center leaders met with U.S. Space Force Col. Stephen Lyon, National Space Defense Center director, during a visit to the organization at Schriever Space Force Base, Colo., Nov. 29, 2023. During the visit, MDA and MDIOC leaders discussed relevant topics such as Ground Testing, Command and Control Battle Management Center-Ground, and the Joint Global Hypersonic Sensor Test live-ops event. The NSDC is a partnership organization, strongly supported by both the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community, that develops and improves U.S. ability to rapidly detect, warn, characterize, attribute, and defend against threats to our nation's vital space systems.
