U.S. Senator Angus S. King, Jr. (I-ME), chairman of the Senate Armed Services Subcommittee on Strategic Forces, visited with U.S. Space Command and U.S. Space Force leaders May 14 at the National Space Defense Center at Schriever Air Force Base, Colorado. During the visit, King toured the NSDC ops floor to learn more about how operations conducted there support the combatant command’s protect-and-defend mission.
