U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Schiess, U.S. Space Forces - Space (S4S) commander and Combined Joint Force Space Component commander, greets UK Rear Adm. Woods to highlight space operations’ role in deterrence and strengthen awareness of daily mission activities. Rear Adm. Woods’ visit to S4S reinforced UK-U.S. integration across strategic deterrence, space domain awareness, and intelligence-sharing, while promoting allied operational alignment and interoperability. The engagement also served to strengthen policy coordination, deepen mission understanding, and lay groundwork for future bilateral cooperation.
