CSpOC Hosts Electronic Warfare, On-Orbit Integration Working Group

Space Delta 5, the U.S. Space Force unit that serves as the Combined Space Operations Center (CSpOC), hosted the second annual Electronic Warfare and On-Orbit Working Group here, Feb. 9-12, 2026. The event was held to advance unity of effort across the Joint Force, Allies, and industry.

The four-day event convened a diverse group of operational leaders, planners, and commercial partners, with many traveling from their respective organizations to attend in person, to synchronize electronic warfare and on-orbit satellite operations across the space enterprise. The forum helps space operators coordinate how they use and protect satellites and the electromagnetic spectrum so they can act faster and avoid interference during crises or conflicts.

As one of two Combat Deltas working for U.S. Space Forces-Space, Space Delta 5 is tasked with executing the CSpOC’s mission of delivering global space operations in support of combatant commanders. The working group focused on improving shared awareness of ongoing terrestrial and on-orbit efforts, identifying friction points affecting military and commercial capabilities, and strengthening coordination across geographic and functional commands.

“The turning points in modern warfare are no longer dictated by a single technology offset, but by a shared understanding across the entire Joint Force,” said U.S. Space Force Lt. Col. Kelly Martin, the CSpOC’s director for intelligence and conference lead.

“This initiative unites 37 organizations from combatant commands, Allied nations, commercial industry, and service field commands to build that cohesive view, both on-orbit and within the electromagnetic spectrum,” Martin said. “By applying existing software and data, we dismantle institutional stovepipes that prevent a shared ground truth to drive a rapid and unified transition from awareness to action.”

Discussions emphasized electromagnetic spectrum coordination, on-orbit mission assurance, data-sharing processes, and cross-command synchronization. Participants examined organizational seams and explored practical steps to streamline collaboration in support of operational campaigning. Outcomes from the working group will inform future operational integration across the CSpOC and partner organizations.

As the U.S. Space Force component to U.S. Space Command, U.S. Space Forces–Space plans, integrates, conducts, and assesses global space operations. Events like the Electronic Warfare and On-Orbit Working Group strengthen the operational integration required to gain, attain, and maintain space superiority.
