VANDENBERG SPACE FORCE BASE, Calif. –
Key Stakeholders from U.S. Space Forces - Space's Commercial Integration Cell held an Executive Session at Vandenberg Space Force Base, Calif., June 17-18.
The two-day event consisted of representatives from the CIC's 17 partnered companies collaborating with the intent of improving information sharing and enhancing cooperation in the space domain. Zellmann, Deputy Combined Joint Force Space Component Commander, provided his remarks on specific topics.
The CIC provides technically qualified operators and subject matter experts who represent their respective company’s operations centers to the Combined Space Operations Center, enabling direct CSpOC and commercial operations center interactions. This helps support planning for anomaly resolution, day-to-day operations, as well as contingency and crisis operations for theater and warfighter support.
