U.S. Space Forces—Space has released an updated mission statement, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to advancing U.S. Space Force, U.S. Space Command and S4S priorities, ensuring mission success in defense, protection, and global space-enabled effects for the Joint Force.
S4S remains focused on its core responsibilities: Protect, Defend, Deliver, and Connect. The refined mission statement provides clearer guidance for combat force integration and strategic operations.
To facilitate common understanding of our mission, we created the S4S Placemat. This placemat is a visual summary focusing on the overarching goals and direction of the command. It is designed to be easily understood and referenced and distills key elements of the S4S organization into a digestible format. The key elements of the placemat include:
