U.S. Space Force Lt. Gen. Douglas A. Schiess, U.S. Space Forces – Space commander and Combined Joint Force Space Component Commander, hosted a town hall at the 6th Space Warning Squadron at Cape Cod Space Force Station, Mass., Jan. 24.

During the town hall, Schiess addressed key topics including space domain threats, the S4S mission, and the Space Force Generation model. As part of the visit, Schiess toured the 6 SWS facilities, gaining firsthand insight into the unit's operations at the Missile Warning Operations Center and the Consolidated Maintenance Operation Center.

Schiess also had the opportunity to engage with the Guardians and Airmen responsible for carrying out the critical mission of detecting missile threats and providing timely warning data to support global security efforts.

The 6 SWS, one of twelve units within Space Delta 4, is a unique team comprising Department of the Air Force and Royal Canadian Air Force personnel, as well as DoD civilians, all working together to present combat-ready forces to the Joint Force.
