Brig. Gen. Paul visits NSDC
SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. —
Royal Canadian Air Force Brig. Gen. Kyle C. Paul, U.S. Space Operations Command deputy commander of operations, plans, training, and force development, left; U.S. Space Force Col. Stephen Lyon, National Space Defense Center director and Space Delta 15 commander, middle; and Brad Head, SpOC director of international affairs, pose for a photo during a visit to the NSDC at Schriever Space Force Base, Colo., Sept. 13, 2024. During the visit, Paul received an NSDC mission brief and tour of the operations floor. This visit and recent visits with Royal Canadian Air Force Brig. Gen. Christopher Horner and Australian Army Brigadier Christopher Gardiner highlight the importance of strengthening Allied and Partner integration in operational planning efforts for the U.S. Space Forces—Space’s (S4S) Protect and Defend Mission. NSDC, with support from DEL 15, is one of two subordinate command and control commands executing operations under the S4S commander’s Combined Joint Force Space Component Commander authorities. The S4S mission is to plan, integrate, conduct, and assess global space operations to deliver combat relevant space effects, in, from, and to space for combatant commanders, coalition partners, the joint force, and the nation.
