DEL 15 activates, brings C2 support to NSDC

SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — Space Operations Command and Joint Task Force-Space Defense officials activated Space Delta 15 during a ceremony here, March 10, 2023.

PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — U.S. Army Gen. James Dickinson, U.S. Space Command commander, hosted more than 70 headquarters and component senior leaders and spouses for the USSPACECOM Spring Commander’s Conference at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo., March 14-16, 2023.

18 SDS Det. 1 declares IOC, provides direct support to NSDC

SCHRIEVER SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — The 18th Space Defense Squadron Det. 1 declared initial operating capability (IOC) Jan. 1, 2023.

Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) will conduct the sixteenth Schriever Wargame at Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama starting March 20, 2023. The Schriever Wargame scenario, set in the year 2033, will explore critical space issues and investigate the integration activities of multiple agencies associated with space systems and services within a multi-domain environment. Schriever Wargame 2023 (SW 23) will include international partners from Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.

U.K. Space Command Delegation visit JCO

USSPACECOM Releases Specific Behaviors

PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, Colo. — Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III approved the U.S. Space Command commander’s eight proposed specific behaviors for the Department of Defense’s operations in the space area of responsibility, Feb. 9, 2023.

Third iteration of 18 SDS ‘Operator Exchange’ welcomes UKSpOC members
